Wireless Communication has been around humans for quite a while and we do use them on daily basis. A good example of wireless communication that is commonly used would be Wi-fi and Bluetooth.

Recently, a lot of tech companies use another technology that uses wireless communication protocol for their products, which is said to be better than Wi-fi and Bluetooth.

So, what is this technology called?

It’s Ultra-Wideband!

What exactly is Ultra-Wideband?

Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is a low-power radio protocol that’s also fast and secure, used to determine location with accuracy unmatched by any other wireless technology.

What makes them different?

Although having similarities with wi-fi and Bluetooth, UWB works at a very high frequency and is able to capture highly accurate data. Because of the high frequency, it is also quite unlikely to have signal interference. Other than that, UWB uses a low-power system and is capable of showing the data in real-time with its fast refresh rate.

Sounds pretty cool right?
